When Mostar’s centerpiece, the Stari Most bridge, fell victim to an attack by Bosnian Croats in 1993, it broke far more than just a masterpiece of architecture. Since 2010, the bridge has been rebuilt and points once again, and perhaps more than ever, to the opportunity for international understanding that we all have. Cross its gleaming, smooth limestone arch and marvel at the journey through time you are about to take. Visit the Mehmed Karadoz mosque or see the Bišćević-Lakšić House from 1635.
